Bran Nue Dae

Bran Nue Dae is a 1990 musical set in Broome, Western Australia, that tells stories and of issues relating to Indigenous Australians. It was written by Jimmy Chi and his band Kuckles and friends, and was the first Aboriginal Australian musical. The name is a phonetic representation of "Brand New Day".

Brand New Day is the eighth studio album by Canadian hip-hop group Swollen Members. It was released on June 17, 2014 via Battle Axe Records. Recording sessions took place at the Chambers Studio in Vancouver and at Blue Light Studios. Production was ahndled by Rob The Viking and C-Lance. It features guest appearances from DJ Makeway and DJ Revolution, and contributions from Dalla Hooper and drummer Tim Proznick. The album peaked at number 8 on the Billboard Canadian Albums, as well as number 146 on the Top Current Albums, number 13 on the Top Rap Albums and number 7 on the Heatseekers Albums charts in the United States.
