Blue Chaise

From Our Living Room to Yours

From Our Living Room to Yours is the second album by the American Analog Set, released in 1997 on Emperor Jones. It was recorded on analog equipment at the band's Austin, Texas, home.

Chaise

A chaise, sometimes called shay, is a light two-wheeled carriage for one or two people. It may also have a folding hood. The coachmaker William Felton (1796) considered chaises to be a family of vehicles which included all two-wheel one-horse vehicles such as gigs and whiskies. A similar carriage pulled by two-horses is identified as a curricle.

Blue

Blue is one of the three primary colours in the RGB (additive) colour model, as well as in the RYB colour model. It lies between violet and cyan on the spectrum of visible light. The term blue generally describes colours perceived by humans observing light with a dominant wavelength between approximately 450 and 495 nanometres. The clear daytime sky and the deep sea appear blue because of an optical effect known as Rayleigh scattering. An optical effect called the Tyndall effect explains blue eyes. Distant objects appear more blue because of another optical effect called aerial perspective.
