Borderline (Madonna song)
"Borderline" is a song recorded by the American singer Madonna for her 1983 self-titled debut album. Written and produced by Reggie Lucas and recorded at Sigma Sound Studios in New York City, it is a pop song with R&B influences and elements of 1970s disco and Philadelphia soul. Its lyrics portray an unequal relationship in which the narrator remains drawn to an emotionally detached partner.
