Candy

Candy, also known as sweets and lollies, is a confection that features sugar as a principal ingredient. The category, sugar confectionery, encompasses any sweet confection, including chocolate or chewing gum. Sugar-glazed vegetables, fruit, or nuts are considered candied.

Grape

A grape is a fruit, botanically a berry, of the deciduous woody vines of the flowering plant genus Vitis. Grapes are a non-climacteric type of fruit, generally occurring in clusters.

Effervescence

Effervescence is the escape of gas from an aqueous solution and the foaming or fizzing that results from that release. The word effervescence is derived from the Latin verb fervere, preceded by the prefix ex. It has the same linguistic root as the word fermentation.
