Country Squire

Country Squire is the third studio album and major label debut by American country musician Tyler Childers. Recorded at the Butcher Shoppe in Nashville, the album was produced by Sturgill Simpson and was released on August 2, 2019, jointly through Childers' own independent label Hickman Holler Records and major label RCA.

Country squire

A country squire was an English country gentleman, usually the chief landed proprietor in a parish and often its lord of the manor. The name was used partly as a courtesy title, partly as a description of his local standing. The country squires belonged to the landed gentry. They managed their estates, took part in the public business of the neighbourhood, and followed country sports. A squire involved with the parish was known as a parish squire.

Country

A country is a political entity or its territory in the world. They function as sovereign states, unrecognized states, constituent countries, or dependent territories. A country may consist of multiple nations, a structure known as a multinational state. Countries are often distinguished as developing countries or developed countries. There is no universal agreement on the number of "countries" in the world. This ambiguity is a result of several countries not being recognized as sovereign states by the UN system, but are recognized by at least one UN member, known as "diplomatic recognition". These countries often have disputed territories and have only partial recognition. A number of entities without recognition are also commonly considered a country.

Squire

In the Middle Ages, a squire was the shield- or armour-bearer of a knight. Boys served a knight as an attendant, doing simple but important tasks, such as saddling a horse and caring for the knight's weapons and armour.
