Rain

Rain or rainfall is a form of atmospheric precipitation composed of droplets of water aerosols that have condensed from atmospheric water vapor and fall by gravity. Depending on the intensity, rain can be described as a drizzle, a shower, a cloudburst or a downpour. It is also often accompanied by other weather phenomena such as strong wind (rainstorm) and lightning (thunderstorm), and may be mixed with hail/ice pellet, snow (sleet) and sandstorm. Rain is a major component of the water cycle and is responsible for depositing most of the fresh water on Earth. It provides water for hydroelectric power plants, crop irrigation, and suitable conditions for many types of ecosystems.

Downpour is a 1972 Iranian black and white movie directed by Bahram Bayzai. It follows the teacher Mr. Hekmati who moves to a new town and attempts to integrate with the new environment. It focuses on his efforts to improve the school he teaches at, his relationships with others in the community and his attempts to find love.

"Downpour" (Korean: 소나기) is a song recorded by South Korean girl group project I.O.I released just for fans by YMC Entertainment and distributed by Stone Music Entertainment on January 17, 2017. The single is the act's final project together after rising to fame in 2016 and becoming one of Korea's most popular acts of the year.
