1st of tha Month

"1st of tha Month" is the first single by American hip-hop group Bone Thugs-n-Harmony from their second studio album, E. 1999 Eternal (1995). The song peaked at number 14 on the US Billboard Hot 100, becoming their first top-20 single, and later was nominated for a Grammy Award in 1996. It was certified gold by the Recording Industry Association of America (RIAA) for shipments of 500,000 copies.

First of the month

The first of the month or first day of the month is the recurring calendar date position corresponding to the day numbered 1 of each month. In the Gregorian calendar, the first day occurs in every month of the year, and therefore occurs twelve times per year.

Month

A month is a unit of time, used with calendars, that is approximately as long as a natural phase cycle of the Moon; the words month and Moon are cognates. The traditional concept of months arose with the cycle of Moon phases; such lunar months ("lunations") are synodic months and last approximately 29.53 days, making for roughly 12.37 such months in one Earth year. From excavated tally sticks, researchers have deduced that people counted days in relation to the Moon's phases as early as the Paleolithic age. Synodic months, based on the Moon's orbital period with respect to the Earth–Sun line, are still the basis of many calendars today and are used to divide the year.

Green

Green is the color between cyan and yellow on the visible spectrum. It has 295–350 different shades. It is evoked by light which has a dominant wavelength of roughly 495–570 nm. In subtractive color systems, used in painting and color printing, it is created by a combination of yellow and cyan; in the RGB color model, used on television and computer screens, it is one of the additive primary colors, along with red and blue, which are mixed in different combinations to create all other colors. By far the largest contributor to green in nature is chlorophyll, the chemical by which plants photosynthesize and convert sunlight into chemical energy. Many creatures have adapted to their green environments by taking on a green hue themselves as camouflage. Several minerals have a green color, including the emerald, which is colored green by its chromium content.
