Ocean Eyes (album)

Ocean Eyes is the second studio album and major label debut by American electronica project Owl City, released on July 14, 2009, by Universal Republic Records. It features a photograph of the Burj Al Arab as its album artwork. A vinyl edition was released, followed by a deluxe edition available on January 26, 2010. The deluxe edition incorporates four new tracks, including a remix of "Hello Seattle". The album contains guest vocals by Relient K vocalist Matt Thiessen on the songs "Fireflies", "Cave In", "The Bird and the Worm", and "Tidal Wave".

"Ocean Eyes" is the debut single by American singer-songwriter Billie Eilish. It was initially released on SoundCloud on November 18, 2015, and then temporarily released as a promotional recording on January 8, 2016, with Drup Music. "Ocean Eyes" was solely written and produced by Eilish's brother Finneas O'Connell, who originally wrote it for his band, but later gave the song to Eilish after feeling the song suited her vocals.

The ocean is essential to life on Earth, harboring most of Earth's animals and protist life. It originated photosynthesis and therefore Earth's atmospheric oxygen, and still supplies half of it.
