Rain

Rain or rainfall is a form of atmospheric precipitation composed of droplets of water aerosols that have condensed from atmospheric water vapor and fall by gravity. Depending on the intensity, rain can be described as a drizzle, a shower, a cloudburst or a downpour. It is also often accompanied by other weather phenomena such as strong wind (rainstorm) and lightning (thunderstorm), and may be mixed with hail/ice pellet, snow (sleet) and sandstorm. Rain is a major component of the water cycle and is responsible for depositing most of the fresh water on Earth. It provides water for hydroelectric power plants, crop irrigation, and suitable conditions for many types of ecosystems.

Sidewalk

A sidewalk, pavement or footpath is a footpath along the side of a road or street, designed primarily for pedestrians and low-speed personal transporters such as mobility scooters and postal NEVs. Sidewalks are usually paved by concrete, pavers, bricks, tiles, stones or asphalt, and are normally slightly elevated from the roadway and separated from motor vehicle lanes by a curb or gutter. There may also be a planted strip between the sidewalk and the roadway and between the roadway and the adjacent buildings, land lots and private properties.
